Hello! I'm Melissa Qin!

I’m a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University. I major in Communications Design, and am pursuing minors in Product Management and Human-Computer Interaction. You can find me cafe hopping, reading pretentious novels, or driving around to my "pretty princess pop" playlist.

I use design to understand the world and its inhabitants and to tell their stories. Easily inspired and easily attached, I fall a little bit in love with everything around me. I'm passionate about creating visual systems that can unravel into conversations. Strengthened by my fine arts background, I strive to create visual points of connection. I hope to design with both empathy and charm.
