Hello! I'm MELISSA QIN

I’m studying Communications Design, and pursuing minors in Product Management and Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University.

In a way, I use design to understand the world to tell people's stories. I've always been fascinated by psychology and language, and how they play into brand strategies. I'm passionate about creating empathetic physical and digital systems that can unravel into conversations, giving a sort of voice to things we leave unsaid.

I'm also a lover of fashion, language, printed ephemera, cafe-hopping, sad books (currently reading The Vegetarian), sitting by rivers and lakes, and rewatching TV shows. Ask me about my growing jewelry collection, or my expansive music taste!
